That's the important thing to remember, the guy is taken and you're just a student who is also illegal. And they know it's there?...And you know they've seen it?. is this just rude; inconsiderate or are some "friends" just inconsistent for whatever reason and I just shouldn't take it personally, because they don't think like me?..I tend to be a very thoughtful friend. I've been told this many a times. I treat them like I wish to be treated, most do live up to that. This particular friend has shown and said that I am one of her best friends she's ever had. But I feel like I am overractign or i feel like I should be upset because her not answering, when I know she's seen it-it told me it was sent, makes me feel like she's a flake, and the least she could do is reply-is it that hard?..I did send her another message, but I didn't tell her I was upset.

It makes me soooo mad that I tell myself I would never answer their call, but it's my good nature that I do answer their call when they call because I just can't imagine myself doing the same thing they do. These people are rude, inconsiderate bastards who have no respect for others, and they're guaranteed to be people who lie a lot too. In fact, I have just berated two of my friends for doing the same thing or saying they would call right back and never do, or call days later. To me, it's an insult. It's like telling someone they're not important enough to ba called back. I really don't know how people can do this. I could never imagine myself telling someone I'd call them back and never do or call them days or weeks later instead. It's just so damn rude. But again, most people are nothing but a bunch of rude, inconsiderate selfish bastards with no manners.

I was at my former high school football game like 6 months ago, and from out of the blue this beautiful girl appeared. She was the most beautiful girl I've ever seen and was for sure the woman of my dreams. Unfortunately she was with a bunch of friends and we were rooting for rival schools, on top of that my group of friends decided to move to the other side of the stadium. I got to see her for the last time at the exit (his school kick the hell out of mine lol!!) but as you imagine, the football game was the last thing I could think of at that moment. Well, after that day, I was resigned to dont ever see her again since We dont have any friends in common, went to different high schools and probably go to school in differen states. However, yesterday while browsing at Facebook, I found her profile by accident!! im a 100% sure is her. I can't believe it. I dont know what to do, should I poke her, messager?? I dont want her to think im a stalker, her profile is for her friends only.

I've heard that in facebook you give out your real name, and in Mspace usually people create a false name. So pretty much anyone can look you up on facebook and track you down???

Well you can obviously make a fake name if you want to. But you can hide your profile so it doesn't really matter if you can track people down, you don't have to accept their friend requests so it's all very safe and you don't need to worry.
Facebook applications (games) are quite good to be honest, but other than that it's just the same as MySpace :)

I want to create this social networking site i have already designed the template all i need to know is what programming languages i need to know and how long it will take me.

The main things you'll need to learn are HTML/CSS and I guess Javascript. You can learn these at http://www.w3schools.com
I think that is better than the average book, as it also has a sandbox where you can play around with and modify the examples they give.
You can use something like Dreamweaver to create your site if you don't really want to learn these, but I'd say its best to know at least a little of each of these technologies.
If you have images for logos, backgrounds or whatever other reason, you'll need some sort of graphical package. Doesn't have to be photoshop. gimp and paint.net are free, you could try one of those.
Reply:Visual Web Developer is the way to go, you can download the express edition from Microsoft's site. It's totally free and you're also allowed to use it for commercial apps. Download it, install it, run it and start by selecting "File -%26gt; New Web Site" from the menu.
At this point you'll see the templates that come with it, select "Personal Web Site Starter Kit" and then click ok. Wait for the project to be created then hit F5 to compile and run it. When the "Debugging Not Enabled" dialog box appears just press ok (it only appears this once). Congratulations, you've just built your first web application.
Now that you have a basic shell up and running you can start to learn web development. At some point you'll also want to download SQL Server Express (also free) so that you use databases with your site (user accounts etc). If you've never done any programming before and you're prepared to work a bit at it every day then expect to take maybe 6 months to get to the point where you could make a simple Facebook-type site, fortunately there is LOTS of help available for this particular package online.
There are plenty of other ways to get a site up and running, but doing it like this is the quickest way to get a web page with at least some functionality running on your local machine. Visual Studio actually sets up a web server on your machine, so if you know your external IP address then you can even make the page visible to the outside world right away.

I like Myspace for 2 reasons.
1. It is a place for me to keep in touch with friends and family members that live far away. Long distance phone calls cost $$$, this is a way to keep in touch without having my phone bill go thru the roof. Also, you can search by school and find old friends you went to school with easily, and would other wise not have there phone # or email address.
2. It is a great place to discover new music. I love to seek out new bands and myspace is a great place to do so.
I don't put alot of personal information on my page and I don't think other people should. The problem with sites such as myspace is that immature people use it and they are not responsible in the way they use it.

I am not allowed to have one, but after seeing what most of my friends have posted like pictures and info, I DON'T EVER WANT ONE. The pictures sicken me because everyone is either trying to be emo or slutty. Its just an excuse to take pictures of yourself so everyone can tell you that your hot. And the whole meeting other people thing, my friends do that too, and sometimes im scared for them because anything could happen. I don't like it one bit.

If your IT group is firewalling the facebook address you may have a tough time getting on unless you have a friend or family member set up a VPN to there home computer, then you can surf freely from there IP address that would not be firewalled.

I think Facebok deleted my account. I can't log in and my friends can't open it. What do I do?!?
Report the incident to Facebook. Either they thought your account was a fraud or someone that for whatever reason is out to destroy your social networking life deleted it. They should get it all sorted out within 24-48 hours and they're good at dealing with account abuse.
