I am 17 (female) and really really like my 26(male) History teacher what should i do?

He is funny cute and really awesome He has a girlfriend (i have meet her) an shes nice but i really really really like him. I constantly stare at his pictures on facebok and have even had "sex dreams" involveing him and I! I have his number and really want to be with him. I get to spend alot of time one on one becuz I am the prez of the student gov. and he is the sponser. I really like him what should i do??

as long as you are his student, or, under 18, you risk getting this guy fired, or into prison,,let it go, until you are 18, and legal, and have thought about it. At the most, say, " when I am 18, at such a time, can we have a cup of coffee together?", and say it with smile,, and he will know what it means. You are playing with fire, and probably will get him burned badly!!

You sound really mature and grown up, you are definately interested in older men (my boyfriend is 20 so i can relate) I know it hurts, i know you really really like him, but he is your teacher and lot older then you. i dont want your heart to be broken, but you will be in pain, you just have to move on sweety. Reply:wait until you 18 so he doesnt go to jail then give him a call .If he tells you he has a girlfriend then that will change your feelings for him real fast.But my sister inlaw fell in love with one of her teachers when she was in school and they are married now.It can happen but wait until your of age.

Reply:Bottom line: wait until highschool is over. You cannot under any circumstances risk getting either you or him in trouble. It is especially unfair to do this to him, because he will go to jail if you pursue this. I understand your feelings must be very strong, but you need to gain control of them. Reply:Maybe ur confusing things. I think u misinterpret things because u realy like ur teacher and so think that when he looks at u, he wants u. Come on, he has a girfriend to him ur just a kid and if he gave u his phone number it was probably for in u ever needed help. I had teachers phone numbers too but it was for help. U need to find someone ur own age, someone will will accept u for who u r. My advice is don't mis-interpret things because ur looking for trouble. First of all if u continue this or say something that a teacher might here, u will get ur teacher in problems cause' ur a minor. You're young forget about it, dreams r dreams, not reality. Find someone ur age.

Reply:its not neccesarily the age that is the problem. its the fact that he is a teacher and u are his student. He has a duty of care for his students and it would be totally inappropriate in that sense. Maybe after u graduate or something. but he has a girlfriend anyway

Reply:I used to have a huge crush on my history teacher when I was in high school too. Except he was more than 9 years older than me. He was married and had four kids. That's the important thing to remember, the guy is taken and you're just a student who is also illegal. I know how much it sucks to be blunt like that, but you have to come to terms with it because he isn't going to leave his girlfriend for you or risk his job for you, that's a fantasy world. If it was a harmless crush I think it's fine, but you sound really attached. Just be careful cause you could get him in a lot of trouble.
