I don't get faceboook at all...?

how do you make ur own profile backround???? i mean myspace has like million sites for differnt layouts but facebok??? can someone plz help me. ^^ thank you

It doesn't have any. You can't customize Facebook like that. Sorry. It was actually only recently (like, 2 months ago) that they even started having those "Application" things where you can put surveys, quizzes, pictures, and stuff like that. It's always been a very plain site. It wasn't even open to the world until last year. Before this, it was ONLY open to specific colleges and high schools and no one else could join.





It kinda sucks, but at the same time, it's kinda nice because you don't have to worry about people with obnoxious backgrounds or backgrounds where you can't read what they wrote and stuff like that.





Hang in there though, I'm sure they'll be adding that feature very soon. Facebook is slowly turning into Myspace...





PS: Mr. Linux, Myspace and Facebook usually are for "real friends". It's just a place where you can get/keep in touch with them when you're not with them in person (ie, summer vacation from college when your hundreds of miles away) and stuff like that. Or leaving cute little comments for birthdays and holidays to show you thought of them. Or post blogs and interesting stories or jokes. There's few people that actually friend random people that they don't even know except online. I don't know about others, but I'm ONLY friends with people I actually know personally on my Myspace and Facebook profiles. As I always say, Myspace and Facebook are for keeping in touch with current or old friends, NOT making new ones. You never know who's on the other side of that screen. [No offense or anything, I just like debunking myths about how Myspace and Facebook friends aren't "real" or they are just internet friends and stuff like that. :-) ]
Reply:you can't change the look of your back ground but you can change the layout and the items on your page.
Reply:You can't have layouts. You just have the basic one that you started out with and then you can add and take some things away.
