What do you think about this unusual situation?

i'm 20 years old and this is the weirdest thing ever,There's this girl, i knew about 10 years ago back in grammar school, hadnt seen her in a long time. i saw her at the gym bout a month ago and we started talkin. for the next 3 days, she constantly IMed me, left me facebok comments, said she wanted to hang out, and gave me her number witout me even asking for it. We hang out, it was goin good, i try to make a move on her and she backs off. So now everytime i try to talk to her she jus says she has to go right away or jus doesnt answer, so i apologized for makin her feel uncomfortable and she said its fine. SO i saw her at the gym yesterday for the first time since we hung out. We hadnt talked in about 2 weeks. As soon as she sees me she asks me to go on the treadmill with her, then asks me if i wanna do abs wit her and legs, etc etc. And she was going wherever i was going at the gym. anddd even asked me to go to a %26amp; p with her lolll.. im jus confused cuz she sendin mixed signals

What do you think about this unusual situation?
yep lots of em too. But you gotta know, thats all they are is signals. She doesnt mean them anyway.

Believe me, if she wanted (you know) then there would be this VERY BIG signal...

So. Dont get your hopes up. Its fruitless to start imagining all this stuff is goin on when in reality, you are just kids trying to find out how to do it all in the first place. Mixed signals, definitatly. So dont be a jerk and put too much emphasis on it.

play cool andhang out.

you'll figure it out, together.

Reply:Sounds like one of two things here. Either she really does just want to be friends and probably enjoys the company and the ability to innocently flirt. OR, she does like you and she's enjoying the chase.

I would just play it cool. DON"T ask her out again. Become friends. Talk about normal friend stuff just like you would if you weren't attracted to her. If there's more to this you'll be able to tell. Give it some time.
